Children of the Wind is a new hip-hop collective sure to cause a stir this year.

Having all shared a mutual involvement in Teeze’s debut release ‘MediTape’, they return under the newly formed alias ‘Children of the Wind’. Made up of vocals from Lechani (France), Loraxx (Senegal) & Noga Bedo (Madagascar) tied together by Teeze (The Netherlands) on production.

Kicking it off with the single ‘RoadRunnas’, as a pre-cursor to the ‘Roadrunnas’ EP, The foursome paint a picture of their summer on the road through Europe, during which the EP was conceived.

RoadRunnas begins with an instantly catchy whistled hook, which gives way to a verse from each of the vocalists as they guide you chronologically through their road trip. The versatility of the group to effortless switch between English and French is mighty impressive, and adds to the care-free, easy going vibes of the track.

Children of the Wind bring a very refreshing sound in Hip-Hop - the bilingual conversational qualities to the rapping paired with the upbeat energies of the production, and it’s a truly exciting prospect.

The five-track EP covers a lot of sonic ground, ranging from Bedroom Pop infused melancholies of ‘Dry Summer’, to the ‘Dub-hop vibes’ on ‘Right Spot’, alongside the exuding upbeat energies of the two singles ‘Roadrunnas’ and ‘Last Words’.
